GPT-4 is a new language model created by OpenAI that can generate text that is similar to human speech. It advances the technology used by ChatGPT, which is currently based on GPT-3.5. GPT is the acronym for Generative Pre-trained Transformer, a deep learning technology that uses artificial neural networks to write like a human. On the other hand, Chat GPT is a new technology that relies on the generation of pre-trained models to generate conversations that can be used by websites and chatbots. While both technologies rely on machine learning algorithms, Chat GPT takes it one step further by focusing on giving more life-like responses using a large set of conversational data.

Its ability to understand and respond to natural language makes it a powerful tool for improving communication and automating tasks that would otherwise require human intervention. GPT software has the capability to answer questions accurately and provide detailed answers quickly – a huge advantage for customer service and technical support professionals. GPT-4 powered solutions equipped to assist customers using natural language processing. This multimodal offering by Open AI has promised a variety of responses to its users.
GPT-4 is also used to research competitors and generate ideas for marketing campaigns. The GPT-4 API is available to all paying API customers, with models available in 8k and 32k. While OpenAI reports that GPT-4 is 40% more likely to offer factual responses than GPT-3.5, it still regularly “hallucinates” facts and gives incorrect answers. The main difference between GPT-4 and GPT-3.5 is that GPT-4 can handle more complex and nuanced prompts. Also, while GPT-3.5 only accepts text prompts, GPT-4 is multimodal and also accepts image prompts. Bing Chat uses a version of GPT-4 that has been customized for search queries.
At the time of writing, ChatGPT Plus is available as a subscription and charges 20 dollars per month. We know that GPT-3 was trained on 175 billion parameters and while OpenAI has not disclosed the amount of parameters GPT-4 was trained on, some sources suggest that it’s close to 100 trillion parameters. However, it is important to note that this information has not been officially confirmed by OpenAI, the organization responsible for the development of the GPT series. Until OpenAI releases an official statement, the exact release date and features of GPT-4 should be considered unofficial. It was hinted that GPT-4 might have multimodal capabilities, quoting a venture capitalist Matt McIlwain who has knowledge of GPT-4.
